I really do like Sotomayor. She’s got a compelling backstory and from everything I’ve read, she seems like an excellent fit for the supreme court. But then again, just like with Presidents, it’s difficult to tell how they will really be until they have the position. so far Sessions, Kyl and Graham have offered NO legitimate concerns or questions, no issues of legal qualifications or legal approach to what the supreme court does- only issues of gender, ethnicity

i thought this was america – land of the free where religion, ethnicity, gender and race were all excepted as equal

i guess the current justices- have no gender or ethnicity?? Unisex and from no where

What a bloody idiot – guess what we all have such biases

i doubt a white jewish male from the advantaged part of the North Shore (chicago) would have the exact same view of an issue as a woman catholic of polish ethnicity – i doubt it and guess what we both could be professionals – lawyer, doctor, teacher – even a justice

not to be insulting but i would the catholic church influences decision and biases more than ethnicity

everyone in the US has a ethnic background and bias except the original inhabitants
