I am trying to find the percentage of bankruptcies attributable to medical problems. I'm not sure if this author is using "attributable" and "contributed" as having the same meaning. To me, contributed means it played a part, attributable would mean it was the main reason. Does anyone know the percentage of bankruptcies attributable to medical problems?
