I could have sworn I left a comment here about a new battery that fits right in with renewable energy as this battery would be lighter and some ten times more powerful which is what next generation [electric] vehicles would need.

I would like to see 100% renewable electricity standard in ten years but dont think it will happen in ten years due to groups, like Koch, funds.

Hey, this reminds me of a new battery, STAIR, I read about

http://www.gizmag.com/stair-air-fueled-battery/11761/

Dubbed the STAIR (St Andrews Air), the new battery improves capacity by adding a carbon component. Oxygen drawn in through a surface of the battery exposed to air reacts within the pores of the carbon to discharge the battery. The discovery that the carbon component’s interaction with air can be repeated, creating a cycle of charge and discharge, led to the development of the new battery.
