Israel never has and never will view Arabs as anything but subhuman, and like the Nazis will continue to steal their land, foot by foot. Nazis! Look at Gaza!

"In my experience, many if not most Israelis — including Israeli leaders — understand that the settlement enterprise is unsustainable."

I don't know who Peter Juul speaks to in Israel, but I disagree.

Ariel, Gush Etzion, Maale Adumim are NOT settlements. They are towns and they are not going away. They will be a part of Israel if a two-state solution ever occurs. I agree that the illegal outposts have to go and that territorial enlargements of the towns and settlements must cease. To tell Israel that the towns may not grow internally is absurd and a non-starter to any Israeli government that wishes to survive. It's as much of a nonstarter as trying to get the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, a recognition that Israel deserves to have before they enter into substantiative negotiations

So, let's get this straight:

One of the world's best examples of perpetual hate and hostilities comes from the oppression of one religous group by another in dispute of "holy" territory.

Ahhhhhh...religion....is there nothing you can't do?
