House Agriculture chair and Blue Dog Collin Peterson (D-MN) on the Waxman-Markey climate legislation: “In my district, a ‘no’ vote would be a good vote.” Blue Dog Gene Taylor (D-MS): “I think of the whole cap-and-trade idea as a Ponzi scheme.” Blue Dog Jason Altmire (D-PA): “I think cap-and-trade is bad policy.”

Rep. Jim Marshall (D-GA) expects that “both the House and the Senate will pass” health care bills “before the August recess, and during the August recess there will be a conference committee working nonstop trying to turn those two bills into a final bill that can be presented to the president.”

May 27th, 2009 at 10:21 amWhat makes me so irate about this whole N.Korean situation is, back in 2003 Bush makes a false claim about Iraq having Weapons of Mass Destruction, in which Iraq was attacked and when the smoke cleared no WMD was found. N.Korea has had an overwhelming substantial amount of evidence of having and producing WMD for a long time and absolutely “NOTHING” has been done to regulate, prevent or stop N.Korea of their nefarious acts!
May 27th, 2009 at 12:32 pmN.Korea violates UN sanctions time and time again and they don’t even get a slap on the wrist?
On top of all this acts of war, their holding two journalist, in which we hardly even hear of? We had tons of coverage and updated news on what was going on with the now released Iran hostage,Roxan Saberi. She’s gotten released without a huge diplomatic fuss but what about these two other journalist? What’s being done about their release?
Why is the world so afraid of N.Korea? This idiot “Dear Leader” is a complete nut job who wants the attention of being known as a Super Power. He’s got his people totally brainwashed and starving. Isn’t that enough reason to go in, yank him out of bed and break off a Special Forces boot in his
rear end! I’m sick of this guy and something huge needs to be done to end his reign!
