"Scientific questions are not resolved via public debate. That’s a mug’s game"

True...Apparently the best way to "resolve" them is through heavily biased left leaning blogs and op ed pieces.

First off, zombies don't lie. Heck, they don't even talk.

Bad joke and had to be made.

Second, if you research the past thirty years of news-science. You'll find out that not only has the story flipped from a global ice age to global warming and the causes have traded places (lost of rain forests and cows ) to carbon from our factories.

Well, if its carbon production causing this, we're ahead in reducing our carbon output. We sent vast majority of our industry overseas. We built very few new power plants (and avoided the least carbon producing, nuclear.) Even our cars are more energy efficent and less carbon producing.

But, we still eat a ton of beef and clear cut vast acres of land to expand our cities.

Finally, if they cant get the right numbers for time this is supposed to take effect, how can they still be sure the numbers are still right?

Scientific questions are not resolved via public debate. That's a mug's game, and Gore would be an idiot for agreeing to it (as are any biologists who agree to "debate" creationists about evolution).

Someone needs to ask this woman, on national television, how many more birds are killed in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Global_warming/Archives/2008/6#US_gov.27t_.28NOAA_leading.29_finally_expresses_an_opinion_on_storm_strength" rel="nofollow">the stronger storms of global warming</a> than would be killed if all of the U.S. electricity was generated by 2 megawatt turbines.

And then ask her how much more uranium is produced by burning coal than nuclear fuel chain releases.

Answer in both cases: About 100 times more.

Follow up with a question on how much mercury is produced by burning coal.

I'm curious, is Gore still unwilling to debate all these "facts" in a public fourm?
