It's embarrassing for Palin that she is so bad at these interviews, but it really is a stupid question. The line of questioning reveals either that Couric is woefully misinformed herself or that she is just badgering Palin. It is appropriate to follow up on a question that a guest is weaseling out of, but doing that on a factual question about somebody else's record feels off sides.

McCain likes to hit Obama for his lack of readiness since he has been in the Senate for less that four years. At least Obama has been on the right side of this issue for those nearly 4 years. For McCain it has been nearly 4 days now that he has been on the right side of this issue. Now, what about the rest of those 26 years? One big, bad blank page. And it is this way with issue after issue. Hell, McCain even voted against money for a study into why women are paid less than men. Some record that is!

Methinks, if you simply peer down the rabbit hole, you'll find a treasure trove of McCain-initiated proposals to draw the noose around these scallywags!

Or, something. Be careful, Sarah: don't fall in while peering into the black void.
