The Repower America advertisements are pure bull and when the people wake up and listen to the engineers and not the science fiction writers at repower America it will be similar to the marajuna generation gap.

when will you start facing the fact that there is no technology that can replace oil or coal for the forseable future. Yes we can conserve but on the volume/price ratio over work done is so much higher than any other thing particularly for transportation and heating. Soler and wind are good but they require a new transmission infastructure acording to MIT technology review mag ( years out) and they ignore the intermitent nature of both which require (rolling reserve) generation capacity which lowers their efficiency dramatically.
