Do they really think the American' people are going to be impressed by a bunch of politicians speechifying to an empty room? That's exactly the reason why Congress has such a low approval rating. It's all talk and no action. These Congress people would be better off returning to their home districts and hearing from the constituents they ostensibly represent. However, with the economy and war going the way they are I can understand why the Republicans would rather wile away their time in the safety of Washington rather than facing the anger of the people back home. I think the last laugh is on the Republicans in this case. Do they really think the American’ people are going to be impressed by a bunch of politicians speechifying to an empty room?
