Given McCain's strong support of "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less", I expected a change from Holt-Eakin on health care.

When will he offer, "Build (New Beds) Now, Train More (MD's), Pay Less"? Nothing from McCain's economic guru on increasing supply.

Nefarious folks like Holtz-Eakin assume some large group could purchase health insurance on behalf of those rolling off employer sponsored coverage.

AHIP's could be wound around a professional group, an association of business (like a local Chamber of Commerce), or the dreaded labor unions.

Big automobile unions helped Ford, GM and & Chrysler shed their retired employee health insurance benefits, via VEBA's.

SEIU President and chief scumbag, Andy Stern, called employer sponsored health insurance "dead and not coming back." The head of the largest health care union should be the last to capitulate.
