What do you expect from a man who listens to Bill O’Reilly?

All others who do so, beware? I did not know I am such a lazy bastard.

What about creating a country for just the rich ones? The rich 1%? In fact, what about giving them any two states of their choice?

Let them go there and clean their own toilet, wipe their children's asssss, and farm their own food.

No. No. No. What about having them buy a country of their own. After all, Bill can afford an Island.

It is bad as it is to be a whiner. Worse if you are a rich whiner.

I think, for the most part, this man (O'Reilly is a loudmouthed fool. However, there are some kernels of value in what he's saying:

Some people on public assistance DO in fact abuse the system (not all, but not 1 or 2 either) and if there's a cost effective way to ensure they're using MY money appropriately, I'm all for it. My spouse is a family doctor and she has TONS of people who come to her office that are on public assistance that want drugs (percoset, vicodin, etc) to either take or sell for $10/pill. That's MY MONEY!

I think we should include some checks in the system to stem abuse on both sides - eliminate all of the ridiculous loopholes that currently exist for high net worth individuals as well as making sure that food stamps aren't used to buy Kool-Aid...

fib112:

Actually, you don't pay more that that. Making 44k a year gives you a federal income tax burden when filing single of $7,344 or about 16.7%. That is also if you didn't spend it on anything deductable, or move some of your pretax income to a retirement account (a smart move).

Please get your facts correct before you go spouting off about how you pay more in taxes than other people.

The “average tax rate in 2006 for the top 1%, based on adjusted gross income, was 22.8%,” WTF?!?! I make 44k and I pay more in taxes. How is that fair?

Transfer. This is a technique of projecting positive or negative qualities (praise or blame) of a person, entity, object, or value (an individual, group, organization, nation, patriotism, etc.) to another in order to make the second more acceptable or to discredit it. This technique is generally used to transfer blame from one member of a conflict to another. It evokes an emotional response which stimulates the target to identify with recognized authorities.

This and other techniques used my Mr. Propaganda loud mouth can be found in: US Army Psychological Operations Field Manual No.33-1

This manual lists every trick used by Oreily and FOX. It is a Psyops operation used against Americans.

This is why no one ever gives a damn when their arguments are faulty - it's not an argument - it's psychological warfare.
