The TPC points out a $ 2.8 trillion discrepancy and Holtz-Eakin accuses them of nit picking (calling it "parsing to an unusual degree"). Just a matter of time before someone says "A trillion here a trillion there and soon your talking about real money." Now if Hotz-Eakin really thinks that McCain is not capable of keeping little details worth hundreds of billions straight in his mind, he should say so. I'm personally kind hearted enough to assume that they are playing bait and switch and are shameless liars. Well it’s happened.
