I suspect McCain&#039;s position hasn&#039;t changed, but his campaign is actively engaging in the &quot;saying nothing isn&#039;t lying&quot; deception by simply not talking about it and removing all references from his website.

In case anyone forgets, this is how 75%-80% of Americans came to the false conclusion Saddam was behind 9/11 pre-invasion. The Administration (sans Chaney) never came straight out and suggested Saddam was involved in 9/11, but they said/did nothing to dispel the well-known misconception, instead &lt;strong&gt;using it&lt;/strong&gt; to garner support for their war. Afterwards, they went around saying, &quot;Hey, we never claimed Saddam was behind 9/11!&quot;. No, but they sure did nothing to debunk it when they knew people were saying it.
