		<description>The Europeans have always maintained high gas prices.  In part, they have invested in extensive public transportation, long lasting highway systems (Germany) and far less urban sprawl.  High taxes have a lot to do with the prices.  The US is quite the opposite.  The one person, one car principle sits right up there with one man, one vote.</description>

		<description>3.5 USD per gallon - try over 8 USD per gallon here in Holland !  If gas was the same price as US, I would own an Escalade!
