The neocons will “go to war” with the “army” it has, not necessarily the one they want. McCain is the man they have and they will act accordingly, whether he is their best choice or not. The point is, the neocons have his soul and that is all that matters during this cycle.

If the author of this post actually read some of the leading neoconservative magazines (National Review, for instance), he would see that John McCain, is not the dream neocon candidate that the author makes him out to be. The info that you present about the candidate is good, but the idea that those ideas embody neoconservative principals is way off the mark.

Of course, Neo-Cons like McCain, being at heart spoiled rotten children, are set upon breaking their “hammer”, our military.
