They work for the people of the United States of America. They are nominated by the President to their post, confirmed by the Senate, and hold office until either they resign, the President replaces them, or they are impeached by the Senate. I hope that people like Mr. Hill and his predecessors will have time to rethink their absurd monarchal theories from behind bars after they are jailed for the crimes they committed in the name of the unitary executive.
