The government works for us. To the extent possible all information which the American government collects and analyzes should be made available. When it is not possible to release the full information then at least a summary should be provided. The current administration has been caught lying about the contents of NIEs, parts of which were later made public. They have zero credibility with respect to the contents of these secret documents. They will leak only the material which suits their cause and simply lie about the rest. This is blatantly un-American. The government works for us. One publicly released NIE caused Cheney too many headaches, so no more!
